Prosciutto di Modena Appettizer


  • 150 gr Prosciutto di Modena
  • 150 gr Cream Cheese (Philadelphia)
  • 200 gr flour
  • 100 gr Ricotta Cheese
  • 100 gr butter
  • 1 egg
  • salt
  • black pepper


Put the flour on a plan, combine butter, ricotta cheese and a little salt. Knead the ingredients to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Allow to rest in a fresh temperature for half an hour, then spread the paste on the plan and cut small circles of 3 cm diameter: brush them with lightly beated egg; add a little pepper and bake them in hot oven (200°) for 15 minutes.

Spread the cream cheese on half the circles. Top with a slice of Prosciutto di Modena and cover with another circle, then serve.

The quantities indicated are enough for four people.
