Peasant Croutons


  • 200 gr Prosciutto di Modena
  • 4 slices homemade bread
  • oil
  • 4 slices mozzarella
  • 150 gr cultivated mushrooms
  • salt


Clean the mushrooms and cut them into pieces, then cook them for 10 minutes in a pan with some oil and salt.
Fry the bread in boiling oil, and drain it paper towels.
Top each piece of bread with a slice Prosciutto di Modena, a slice mozzarella and some mushrooms. Put the composition in hot oven (220°) for 5 minutes, then serve.

The quantities indicated are enough for four people.
